Owned, operated, and managed two Automan franchises in the Montreal area. Performed as General Manager of both locations, responsible for all aspects of business operations including: customer service, recruiting and staffing, marketing and promotion, technical operations, and administration and finance. A consistent annual winner of Automan's Gold Level Award for excellence in management and operation of a franchise.
Area Operations Manager, Automan Inc., Montreal, Que., (1990-1994). After a brief stint as a Store Manager in Ottawa, Ont. (1989-1990), was promoted to Area Operations Manager in the Montreal office of Automan Inc. During that period I oversaw all aspects of Automan Inc. franchise operations in the Montreal, Quebec City, and Toronto regions.
